This online course is designed for anyone who works with or may come into contact with chemicals. It is also relevant for people who generally work in the workplace, purchasing or transportation sectors.

The course provides basic knowledge about the safe use of chemicals, chemical inventories, risks associated with use, and the use of protective equipment.

The course covers important topics such as mapping, contaminants, classification and labeling of chemicals, safety data sheets and substance inventories, exposure and health hazards, risk assessment, use of protective equipment, and first aid.
