This scaffolding course provides theoretical training in the assembly, disassembly, modification, and inspection of standard system scaffolding and mobile scaffolding with a top platform height ranging from 2 to less than 9 meters. Because the course covers the height range of 5–9 meters, the theoretical portion consists of 15 hours of documented training.

15 hours of online theory—at least 15 hours of hands-on practice locally
Arrange the on-the-job training with your employer and a qualified mentor. For work on scaffolding between 5 and less than 9 meters, at least 15 hours of practical training under supervision and guidance are required. Practice assembling, disassembling, modifying, and inspecting the type of scaffolding you will be using, as well as using the relevant fall protection equipment. Your employer must document the training before you begin working independently.
The mentor can be a colleague or business partner with theoretical and practical training covering the specific type of scaffold and height involved. The mentor does not need to have taken our course. The course covers standard scaffold setups within the specified scope. Scaffolds 9 meters or higher and setups outside the supplier’s standard require a different training program.
This course is suitable for carpenters, masons, painters, roofers, maintenance personnel, and others who build or modify scaffolding as part of their work. Participants complete the theory portion of the course via the course portal on a smartphone, tablet, or computer.

Section 17-3 of the Regulations on the Performance of Work requires a minimum of 15 hours of theory and 15 hours of practical training under the supervision and guidance of a qualified person for standard system and rolling scaffolds ranging from 5 to less than 9 meters. The online course covers the theory. The practical section explains how to complete the practical training locally. Scaffolding 9 meters and higher, as well as configurations that deviate from the supplier’s standard, require a different training program.
