This scaffolding course provides theoretical training in the assembly, disassembly, modification, and inspection of standard system scaffolding and mobile scaffolding with a top platform height ranging from 2 to less than 9 meters. Because the course covers the height range of 5–9 meters, the theoretical portion consists of 15 hours of documented training.
This course is suitable for carpenters, masons, painters, roofers, maintenance personnel, and others who build or modify scaffolding as part of their work. Participants complete the theory portion of the course via the course portal on a smartphone, tablet, or PC.

Section 17-3 of the Regulations on the Performance of Work requires 15 hours of theoretical training and 15 hours of practical training under the supervision and guidance of a qualified person before working independently with standard system and rolling scaffolds ranging from 5 to less than 9 meters. This online course covers the theoretical portion. The employer must document the practical training and assess the employee’s actual competence. Scaffolding 9 meters or higher, special structures, or setups that deviate from the supplier’s instructions require different or additional training.

Practical Experience and Signed Documentation
For scaffolding ranging from 5 to less than 9 meters, at least 15 hours of supervised practical training must be completed at the trainee’s own workplace using the relevant system or rolling scaffold. A qualified person monitors and certifies completion of the training. A practical training verification form is provided along with the diploma and course documentation and must be signed upon completion of the practical training.
