Online Scaffolding Course (2–5 meters) – 7.5 hours of theory
Complete the theory section on the assembly, disassembly, modification, and inspection of standard-configuration scaffolding systems with a top scaffold deck height ranging from 2 to just under 5 meters. Get started right away and work through it at your own pace.
7.5 hours of online theory—at least 7.5 hours of hands-on training locally
Arrange the on-the-job training with your employer and a qualified mentor. Complete at least 7.5 hours of practical training under supervision and guidance on a standard-configuration scaffolding system with the top scaffold deck at a height of 2 to less than 5 meters. Practice assembly, disassembly, modifications, inspections, and the use of relevant fall protection equipment. The employer must document the training before you are allowed to work independently.
The mentor can be a colleague or business partner with theoretical and practical training covering the specific type of scaffold and height in question. The mentor does not need to have taken our course. This course covers standard-configuration system scaffolding. Mobile scaffolding, scaffolding 5 meters or higher, and non-standard configurations require that training needs be determined separately.
✅ Legal Basis
Section 17-2 of the Regulations on the Performance of Work requires a minimum of 7.5 hours of theory and 7.5 hours of practical training under supervision and guidance. Complete the theory portion here and arrange the practical training locally with a qualified mentor.
