What HSE courses does Komplett HMS AS offer?

Can courses be taken in languages other than Norwegian?
Yes, many of our courses are available in a variety of languages. Courses consisting only of text and images can be taken in any language, while courses with video content can be taken in the languages available at the time of order. How long does an HSE course for managers take?
A standard HSE course for managers is normally 40 hours. However, our online courses offer you the flexibility to take the course at your own pace, allowing you to fit it into your schedule.
Are the course certificates valid?
Yes, all our course certificates are issued in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, such as the Working Environment Act (AML) and associated regulations. They provide you with the legally required competence.
How long is an HSE course certificate valid?
Most course certificates, such as HSE courses for managers and safety representative courses, do not have a formal expiration date. However, it is strongly recommended to take refresher courses when there are changes in laws, regulations, technology, or work methods to ensure that competence is up to date.
Do you offer in-person courses or only online courses?
We specialize in flexible online courses that can be taken anytime, anywhere. Upon request, we can also arrange in-house physical courses, tailored to your company's specific needs.
What are the training requirements for safety representatives?
The Working Environment Act §6-5 requires that safety representatives receive the training necessary to perform their duties responsibly. This is normally a 40-hour course. Our safety representative course fully covers this requirement.
What is a fall protection course and who needs it?
A fall protection course provides training in the safe use of fall protection equipment and safe work at height, in accordance with Regulations on the performance of work, Chapter 17. Everyone who is to perform work at height (above 2 meters or with a risk of falling) must have such training. See our fall protection course.
What is a course in the safe use of diisocyanates?
As of August 24, 2023, there is a legal requirement for special training for anyone handling diisocyanates (found in many polyurethane products). This course covers these new requirements and is essential for many in the construction industry. See our diisocyanate course.

What is central approval and does my company need it?
Central approval is a voluntary quality scheme for companies that are to have responsibility for building cases under the Planning and Building Act (PBL) and the Building Case Regulations (SAK10). What is an HSE card (Construction ID) and how do I order it?

What is a chemical inventory?
A chemical inventory is a legally required overview of all hazardous chemicals used or stored in the company. It must include safety data sheets (SDS), risk assessments, and instructions for use for each chemical, as required by the Chemicals Regulations.
